Hotel Fiume

Excellent 👌😊 very nice cute hotel small but terrible 😉👍. We stay for weekends with my family for 3 Nights on 20th august til 23 and we are so happy to fine this hotel so close to the train station city center subway super market. Everything you need you can fine on this hotel, and very important is the staff very welcoming feels like your home and if you're looking for a nice restaurants italian food and the price not too much but good quality food and wine.. you can ask stefano he put you on the better place.. 🔥🔥🔥everything is good.. we come back again soon on this hotel..

This was a hotel in Genoa. The attendant at the front desk was extremely dismissive from the beginning, scoffing at my inability to speak Italian and my best effort to understand him by speaking Spanish, which I can fluently speak. After an admittedly painful conversation, the attendant gave us our key. We arrive to the room, and though we reserved a five person room, only 2 beds were provided. After my father came down and asked why we only had two beds, the man acted like he had no idea what was going on despite being the person we made the reservations with. We left to eat, hoping that by the time we get back, the man would have been able to fix the mistake. We come back after about 2 hours, and he says there's nothing that could be done. We ended up walking by an open closet on our floor and seeing there was a mattress and frame for the mattress that he decided not to inform us about. After talking to a housekeeper about the attendant's service, the attendant confirmed that the behavior of the attendant was common for him, and that he was often lazy and rude with many customers and staff. They also told us of an instance where the man had a room supposedly ready for guests, but when the guests arrived to the room, there were no pillows. The guests asked the attendant for pillows, and he provided one without a cover, and didn't help them any further.

Do not make a reservation for a room on the first floor because it's quite noisy! There's a vending machine for snacks , another one for drinks and a shoe - automatic cleaner out in the corridor where people get there very early in the morning and even some times late at night, so, it's difficult to sleep or you wake up all of a sudden ... ☹ Also, you can hear the talkings from the reception. 😞 The doors are very slim and very close one to the other , so, you can hear the tv and guests talkings. No elevators, so be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs on your own .🙁 Wi-Fi works great , the room was very clean, towels and sheets very soft and the bed was very comfortable. 😏 The location is great for everything you want to do in walking distance from the train station. ☺
